Talks and workshops
Design Matters
conference in Copenhagen: 16 and 17 June 2025
This workshop explores how to apply voice and tone principles in digital products.
We’ll break down when—and how much—brand personality should be incorporated into digital interfaces while keeping content accessible and easy to use.
Through hands-on exercises, we’ll practice workshop techniques that help define and refine voice and tone in your product.
No prior content design or UX writing experience is required—just come ready to play with words!

content design conference: online, September 2024
I gave a talk at one of my dream conferences! Still not over that.
In this talk, I shared examples of how I and my team experimented with voice attributes in user research during my time at IKEA, including some examples of when it goes both right and wrong.
Participants (hopefully) learnt how to:
Run workshop exercises for exploring voice and tone in a digital product
Decide when to get non-content collaborators involved
Set up content testing voice and tone in user research
